    a group of people who have come to a place to see or hear a film, performance, speech etc. The people who watch a sports match or other large event are usually called spectators or the crowd. Audience can be followed by a singular or plural verb (电影、演出、演讲等的)观众,听众(后可接动词的单数或复数形式)
