adverb, preposition /əˈbaʊt/
About can be used in the following ways: about有以下用法:
as a preposition (followed by a noun): 用作介词(后接名词): He told me about your problem. 他告诉了我你的问题。
as an adverb (without a following noun): 用作副词(后不接名词): Stop rushing about. 别四处乱跑。
after the verb ‘to be': (用于动词to be 之后): Is your father about? 你父亲在吗?
