adverb, preposition /ˈəʊvə(r)/
Over can be used in the following ways: over 有以下用法
as a preposition (followed by a noun or a pronoun): 用作介词(后接名词或代词): a bridge over the river 河上的桥 Two men were fighting over her. 两个男人正为了得到她而争斗。 (followed by a number or amount): 后接数字或数量: It happened over a hundred years ago. 这件事发生在100多年前。
as an adverb (without a following noun): 用作副词(后不接名词): He fell over and broke his arm. 他跌倒了,摔断了手臂。
