    used for referring to a place when you do not know or say exactly where 某处

    I think I've seen you before somewhere. 我想我以前在某个地方见过你。

    I've lost my watch, but it must be somewhere in the house. 我的手表不见了,不过一定就在家里的某个地方。

    There's a restaurant somewhere around here that's supposed to be good. 这附近某个地方有个据说不错的饭店。

    somewhere nice/safe/different etc :

    Let's go somewhere nice for dinner. 我们去个好地方吃晚饭吧。
