Usage note: well
Well is used for making many compound adjectives (=formed from two or more words). In this dictionary, these adjectives appear with a hyphen and this is how you will normally see them when they are used before a noun: well 用來構成複合形容詞（由兩個或兩個以上單詞構成）。在本詞典中，這些形容詞中間有個連字符，這是它們用於名詞前時通常出現的樣子: a well-known actor著名的演員。
